Fake and Real Mac Cosmetics

 

There are many people who sell fake MAC out there, and everyone thinks that fake MAC means that the quality is also bad.  I am not trying to promote "fake" MAC, but I actually want to tell you the difference between "fake" MAC and "Real" MAC.  Basically, all eyeshadows and pigments are made from 100% mica powder, and so is the "fake" MAC as well as the "Real".  But it is the packaging and the duplication of it that is causing the problem for everyone.  Though, "fake" MAC quality is just as good as the real, but some products only.

The pictures posted above are a sample of "fake" MAC apart from "Real" MAC.  The pictures above is the difference between the "studio fix powder plus foundation".  I have written which one is fake and which is real.  If you look above, you can see the "fake" one looks exactly identical to the real, but there are minor things you can look for so that you don't get scammed.

Fake MAC                              

- has barcode on the bottom, but no stamp
- top lid does not have any color sticker of the studio fix foundation plus powder
- the back of the box has the color sticker of the product

Real MAC

- the real one has the barcode with the stamp on it
- the top lid of the box has the color sticker on it
- the back of the box has no color sticker

Bad Gal jumbo eyeshadow pencils

                                      

These bad gal jumbo eyeshadow pencils are very creamy and very pigmented.  They are excellent to use as an eyeshadow base, they could also be used as eyeliner.  They glide on very easily and don't crease.  These pencils are the same size as the nyx jumbo eyeshadow pencils.  I would recommend these pencils for an eyeshadow base as they are creamy and keep the eyeshadow on for a longer period of time.

28 Blush Palette

                                               

This blush palette comes with 28 different blushes in different tones of pinks, browns and yellow/peach.  Most of them are matte and a few are shimmer.  They are the size of medium sized eyeshadows so a smaller blush brush can be used for this.  This is good for those who love blushes, and it comes in a compact case that is very easy to carry and stock.  This is also good for those who are on a budget and don't want to buy many single blushes.  They are highly pigment and give off great color. I would recommend this for those who do other peoples makeup and love blushes.

15 concealer palette

This is a compact mini palette of concealers. This concealer is a creamy product and best used when you warm it up a little bit.  For a better result take your blow dryer and put it on low heat facing the concealers, this will make them warm up and melt a little bit for better blending.  This is a great palette to use for those that do not exactly know which concealer will be good for their dark circles and other parts of the face since we cannot use the same concealer everywhere.  The dark circles that we have are slightly a darker under tone compared to the other blemishes or pimples on our face.

The great thing about this palette is that you can take many colors of the concealers and blend different colors together to get the color that would be perfect for your dark circles or any other places you feel you need to conceal.

It comes with 11 different color concealers, 3 color correctors (purple, green, and yellow) and 1 highlighter.
Uses of the color correctors:
- Yellow- to hide discoloration and then you apply the concealer on top of that.
- Purple- to brighten up shallow looking skin (yellow under tones)
- Green- To hide any redness anywhere on your skin
- White highlighter- can be used on the cheeks to give them a shiny glow. 

This palette is also great for starting make up artists that do other peoples makeup and are on a budget to start off. I would recommend this product for those starting off and want to experiment with how you can conceal your dark circles the best way possible.

Benefit Lemonaid Eye corrector

                                      

Lemon aid correcting eyelid primer is a yellow soft creamy product that helps to hide redness and discoloration on your eyelids. This is specially good for those who have very dark eyelids and concealer does not help to hide it.

This can be worn with or without makeup. It comes with a mirror in a compact form and it is very easy to blend. This is not only great for correcting the eyelids but also an excellent product to use as an eye primer under your eyeshadow, it instantly brightens up your eyeshadows making them true to their colors.

120 Manly Palette

I am going to do a review on this 120 manly palette.  This 120 palette is great for starters who are on a budget and cannot afford a lot of makeup.  The reason this is a great palette because it has a lot of colors to chose from and you can get many looks out of this one palette.

These eyeshadows are a a little bit smaller than a dime and placed into a very convenient case to carry.  Here are some of the good things about this palette.  I will also be posting some looks using this palette for you guys to have a view.

Pros:

- Inexpensive makeup and you get 120 different eyeshadows

- Excellent color selection with bright shades

- Variety of different finishes, that include shimmer, matte and satin

- Very blendable

- Good pigmentation

- Comes in a compact case for those who are on the go

Overall, I think this is a great purchase if you are starting off and don't have alot of makeup.
